Hello all! I hope all is well. I want to thank you all for the continued support and prayers as I have been in Spain. Your encouragement is so very appreciated!

It has been a busy few weeks with lots of class time, ministries, and adventures. In class, the students have learned about the Character & Nature of God, Relationships, and the Father Heart of God. This week we are diving into the topic of inner healing and false prophets. It has been so good to see them grow and learn and to be able to minister to them as staff. I myself have learned and grown so much too! One thing that has been on my heart and been revealed to me is that I have a major fear of rejection and I've begun this process of healing from that and God continues to remind me that I am accepted by Him and that is more than enough.

Ministries

We've also been doing ministries in the park with the kids which has been so good. I love seeing the smiles on the kids faces every time we show up in our dinosaur suits and we get to dance and play with them and share with them Christian values! Sometimes it feels a little repetitive (which isn't necessarily bad) and we do the same songs, and same games so I am trying to integrate some games and songs from working at the LifeTime summer camp. I am also really hoping to start up some new ministries for us as a base to be more involved in the community this year. I'd love to start a sports ministry, women's bible study, a summer camp... I have so many ideas and am so excited I get to be here this summer to get started on some of these ministries.

Adventures

We've gone on a few adventures now and I have enjoyed each and every one of them! We went snowboarding with our friends from my church which was so fun and I even went on the blue hill! We went on a hike called El Torcal where we got drenched because it was raining but it had some really cool rock formations and goats. We've also gone to two castles, Castillo de Salobreña and La Alhambra in Granada.

Outreach

In two weeks we will leave Spain and go to North Africa to finish off the lecture phase. After three weeks there, we are going to England to begin outreach! We're going to the town of Derby where we will do ministries with kids, churches, immigrants and food banks. After three weeks there, we will head to Shköder, Albania where our focus will be on kids and working with the Roma/Gypsy community. As staff, my Minnesota friend Cecilia and I get to lead and plan for Albania which I am so excited for! To finish off the outreach, we are going back to Spain to do the "Camino de Santiago" which is a long hiking trail in the north of Spain. People go there and do this long hike for "self-discovery" or to seek something spiritual and I think it will be the perfect opportunity to evangelize and minister to people that are searching. I am so excited to see what God has in store for us during this time!

Prayer Requests

  • Pray for wisdom as we prepare for outreach and the different ministries we will do. That we would be guided by the Holy Spirit.

  • Pray that God would continue revealing who He is to me and that I would continue rooting my identity in Him.

  • Pray for continued financial support. I'm coming up a little short on finances but I have full confidence God will provide and bring people in that desire to support His call on my life.

If you desire or feel led to support me, you can do so by clicking here and it will take you to my giving portal at YWAM Tyler. Otherwise you can give directly to me through Venmo, PayPal or Cashapp - my username for all three is "zettakay".

Thank you all again for you continued prayers and support!

Blessings,

Zetta
