Hey friends and family! He is risen! Happy Easter to you all, I hope you spent a wonderful weekend with loved ones and reflected on the sacrifices God has made for us to be apart of His family. I also hope your March Madness brackets aren't as messed up as mine is. It has been a crazy month, not only for basketball, but also for our DTS. So much has happened in the last month and I am so excited to catch you all up...

We spent the first half of the month in Spain, continuing our lecture phase and ministry. One of the biggest weeks we had was Destiny by Design, where the students (and staff) explored their passions and interests, recognized their life experiences, figured out their personality and identity, and looked at the gifts they have. They then put it all together to figure out God's call on their life. I loved going through this week again, as it reignited that fire within me for kids and my dream of starting up my own kids camp in Spain one day.

Ministry

We did our final kids in the park before leaving Spain, and as always, it was so fun! I love getting to play with the kids, sing songs, and do some dances while also teaching them Christian values. For our final story time, the students put together a little drama that taught about The Good Samaritan. Afterwards, one of the students explained what the kids saw and shared a little testimony. The kids were so eager to answer questions and understand the importance of loving and caring for those around us, even with our differences.

Mid-March we flew out from Spain and went to North Africa, where we continued our lecture phase. Where we're at it is more restricted as far as evangelism goes, but we've still found ways to minister to the people here. We've gone out in our dinosaur suits into the streets and passed out animal balloons to the kids. We've made relationships with shop keepers and tour guides and we've even been able to pray for a few people! I know so many seeds have been planted in the people we've met and gotten to know and I pray that God would bring those seeds to fruition.

Personal

God has been speaking to me so much the last month. The word that He keeps speaking to me is Hineni (הִנֵנִי) which means "Yes God, Here I am" and is an offer of complete availability, of total readiness to serve. It is used a few times in the bible, one being Moses proclaiming it to the burning bush when it called out to him in the wilderness. Before even knowing God's plans, he said Yes. I pray that this word would continue to be apparent in my life. That I can say "here I am God, send me. I submit to your plans. I trust in you and your timing. I pray that my heart will leap without hesitation that I might make myself fully available to whatever You ask of me." God has also been speaking to me through dreams which has been so cool and has been a process of interpreting and praying about what these dreams mean. God is at work in my life and all those around me!

Prayer Requests

  • Prayers for safe travels to England and Albania as we start outreach.

  • Prayers for our students and staff to be bold in their faith during outreach, to reach those in need and those that God is calling.

  • Prayers for continued financial support. I need roughly $1,200 monthly to cover the costs of rent, food, flights, ministries, and a few other small things.

If you desire and feel led to support me, you can do so by clicking here and it will take you to my giving portal at YWAM Tyler. Otherwise you can give directly to me through Venmo, PayPal or Cashapp - my username for all three is "zettakay".

You all have been such a blessing to me and this mission God has called me on. THANK YOU!!

Zetta
